Design Title: Pebbles Ring
Entry #: 1055
Category: Rings
Description: This is one of my River Pebbles rings- created using our wave border bands in 14k white gold, and using 18k yellow gold for the bezels and pebbles. For the center stone I chose a beautifully cut brazillian green tourmaline, which I accented with small high quality white diamonds. The ring has a gentle movement in its lines and has a bold yet delicate look when worn.

Design Title: uberRing
Entry #: 1093
Category: Rings
Description: A diamond wedding band is a timeless classic and never out of style. However, sometimes we want to dress these timeless classics up a bit and my solution to this is the uber ring series. I selected specific light colored gem stones for the architectural square rings that are worn over the diamond wedding band. The diamonds make the plain colored stone sparkle and the colored stone enhances the classic beauty of the band. Women like to have the option of dressing up their diamond band rather than replacing it with a bigger ring for special occasions. One woman even said laughing, that you could hide your wedding band and make this the perfect "divorce ring."

Profile: Austrian jeweler Elena Kriegner decided that she wanted to be a “jewelry maker” when she was 6 years old and started to make her first creations.

She passed the entry exam of a prestigious European Jewelry Design School by the age of 14 and started 4 years of training in the craftsmanship of “Goldsmithing.” She graduated as “Goldsmith,” and then added two more years of training and received her degree as “Master Jewelry Maker.”

With her distinct style and her love for technical challenges and versatile ways of changing and moving pieces, Elena knew that she wouldn’t fit into any of the traditional jewelry businesses. She started her own workshop in the Austrian village where she grew up, and created one-of-a-kind signature pieces for private clientele. To perfect her skills, she traveled to South Africa and worked with a gemstone cutter, to Greece where she taught classes in jewelry design—and many trips to New York to integrate her style with fashion.

Design Title: Vintage 'Blinking' Dolls Eye Sterling Silver Ring
Entry #: 1082
Category: Rings
Description: My handmade ring features a vintage 'blinking' dolls eye set in resin in a sterling silver ring with brass rivets. The ring is adjustable and is made from sterling silver. The silver is textured and oxidised to bring out the pattern in the metal. When the Eye is held vertical it is 'Awake' and when it is horizontal it is 'Asleep'. I guess these are circa 1940s - and they are very unique. So, when you wear your 'Eye' as a ring, your hand movement will make the Eye blink.... The Eye is set in blue sparkly coloured resin with fine silver 'tears' - which are polished tiny fine silver beads handmade by the Thai Karen Hills Tribe (purchased Fair Trade). One-of-a-Kind and very unique!

Profile: Vicky T. Hunt is the creative, redheaded, marine cephalopod-lover behind her website 'Ginga Squid'. I seek to combine naturally occurring organic and Fair Trade materials with fine silver and semi-precious stones to form something completely unique. I also have fun sourcing rare and unique stones to make my jewellery designs one-of-a-kind pieces of wearable art.

Design Title: Silver tear Drops
Entry #: 1042
Category: Bracelets
Description: Brushed Sterling Silver Open Tear Drop. Sginature Sterling Silver Toggle Clasp.

Profile: The brynn hudson approach to silver and total belief about jewelry is that it should be timeless. In addition, it should not only be a compliment to one’s look, but should also be worn as a statement or an outward expression of who you are. It is my goal that anyone wearing one of my silver designs will feel bold, yet elegant, and simply beautiful. The thought process behind each brynn hudson design is to create a beautifully crafted, eye-catching piece. By juxtaposing curvilinear movement with contrasting industrial and organic silver elements, an Art Nouveau sensibility is translated into all handcrafted pieces. Channeling an ‘artist/architect’ aesthetic, the collection of brynn hudson bracelets, necklaces and earrings focuses on simple construction and bold statements.
